I usually find it difficult to write about a song — and an artist — that I am in the middle of being completely and utterly in love with. There’s no distance there. Anything I’d have to tell you about the new Rod Thomas EP at this point would sound like a cross between a hyperbolic Pitchfork review and a Lolcat. So I’ve uploaded both the video and an MP3 for you instead, and I will proceed without comment — except to say that, in my eyes, this is the first official song of Spring 2009.
