After a treatment that involves the transfusion of white blood cells called granulocytes cured 100 percent of lab mice with advanced malignant cancers, scientists at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina are prepared to embark on a human trial. Says lead researcher Zheng Cui, “Our laboratory studies indicate that this cancer-fighting ability is even stronger in healthy humans.”Page 1 of 1
